Print Hall and its upstairs venue, Bob’s Bar, were both recognised at the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Hotel and Hospitality Awards for Excellence. Opened in 2012, Brookfield Place’s Print Hall is a multi-level drinking and dining precinct in Perth and represents one of the ‘new kids on the block’ that AHA (WA) CEO Bradley Woods said are bringing “an enormous sense of excitement to WA hospitality”.
Print Hall cleaned up, taking home took three categories for a second year running. The line up: Best Sommelier Award: Daniel Wegener of Print Hall, Best Wine List, and the big one … WA’s Best Hospitality Venue 2014!
The Apple Daily Bar & Eating House scored a highly Commended in the Restaurant Award category, and Bob’s Bar, upstairs, shared the Outdoor Venue Award with another Perth new kid on the block, Matisse Beach Club.
In an article in the West Australian, Kate Emery wrote that “Print Hall confirmed its reputation as one of the best things to happen to the Perth CBD for years by taking out the top award, WA’s best hospitality venue, for the second year in a row.”
