Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards, presented by Gourmet Traveller Wine and the Australian Liquor Industry, were announced this week.
Print Hall rarely fails to take home a prize at these awards, and once again the name is among the Award Winners. Print Hall has won 2015’s award for Best Aperitif List.
The Botanical and Print Hall were both inducted into the Hall of Fame this year for their success over the past few.
Print Hall, which took home the Wine List of the Year in 2013, joined other previous National winners in the 2014 Hall of Fame. Print Hall now sits in this elite group alongside Lake House in Daylesford, Rockpool Bar & Grill (Perth and Sydney), the Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld, Sydney’s Aria, Pilu at Freshwater in NSW, Circa the Prince and Syracuse in Victoria.
Botanical joined the high performers in the 2014 Hall of Fame for previous three-time winners, having won the Best Pub Restaurant Wine List in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Congratulations are in order for the Directors of Beverage at Print Hall and Botanical, Jean-Charles Mahe and Tim Bryar respectively, and their hard-working and passionate teams. The Botanical bar team also deserve a cold one for making it into the national finalists for their beer list, and our South Melbourne gastropub, Lamaro’s, was a finalist for the Best Pub Wine List nationally too.
Cheers to that!
