Colonial Leisure Group (CLG) was established in July 2008 with the acquisition of the assets of Empire Brewing Company (ASX : EEE), which included The ROYAL on the Waterfront in East Perth and the award-winning Colonial Brewing Company in the renowned Margaret River wine region.
Over the past year, CLG has been on an acquisition path to acquire hotels that fit its model and criteria. These hotel acquisitions will assist in the distribution of our award winning craft ale, Colonial.
Our primary objective is to be a leader in the hospitality industry through the achievement of business excellence in the supply of food, beverage and other related activities.
With a newly established support centre in Port Melbourne, CLG is fast becoming the new leader in non-gaming pub companies. Operating in Victoria and Western Australia, we offer a diverse range of venues that include experiences in brewing, bars, cafes, bistros, entertainment, on-line wine sales, restaurants and accommodation.
Under the Group's ownership and/or management are a number of iconic venues including the Raffles Hotel, Botanical, The Portsea Hotel and Colonial Brewing Company. Each of these venues are historically significant and they are regarded as benchmark hospitality venues in their state. Our other venues are predominantly located across the inner suburban areas of Melbourne and Perth.
